Atul Dodiya Born in 1956, he completed his B.F.A. from the Sir J. J. School of Art in Mumbai in 1982. His Recent Shows have met with enormous success and he has exhibited widely at galleries and museums both in India and abroad. Selected shows include The Wet Sleeves of my paper Robe, Bodhi Art, Singapore, Mumbai and New York (2006); Bose Pacia Gallery, New York (2005 and 2003). Atul Dodiya’s work has been included in many museum exhibitions.Selections include Indian Summer at Ecole Nationale Superiure des Beaux-arts Paris, Paris (2005);iCon;India Contemporary at the 51st Venice(2005). Atul was recipient of the Sotheby’s Prize for Contemporary Indian Art in 1999 and the Sanskriti Award in 1995. He lives and works in Mumbai.
